Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) – Fishing Info

About Lake Worth Beach Fishing Charters

Where does Lake Worth Beach Fishing Charters fish?

We fish the Fort Lauderdale area, including Atlantic Ocean, Lake Worth, Palm Beach, West Palm Beach, Lake Worth Beach.

What are the target fish?

Target fish include Atlantic Sailfish, Swordfish, Mahi-Mahi. Thanks to the warm waters of the Gulf Stream we have pretty fantastic fishing year round for Sailfish, Swordfish and Mahi-Mahi here in the Palm Beach area. While the Deep Sea and Offshore fishing is excellent year round certain times are better than others for Pelagic fish in Florida. The best time to fish for Sailfish in Palm Beach is from November to May. Atlantic Sailfish will follow large schools of bait fish down our way in these winter months. The Sailfish find themselves in the offshore waters of Southern Florida more so in the winter due to our slightly warmer water temperatures. The best time to fish for Swordfish in Southern Florida is generally August to November. The est part about fishing for Swordfish in the Palm Beach area is that they can be caught much closer to land than in other places. Due to large drop offs only about 20 miles offshore we see good numbers of swordfish caught just a stones throw from land.
